Now that you and Jas mention it, several years ago I was dating a woman who
had a couple of kids and 2-3 cats.  She kept most of the indoor Christmas
decorations up well into the early Spring, but I don't remember ever seeing
a tree.

I didn't put 2+2 together at the time, but maybe that is why.  :D
