 I used to sit at the counter at a well-known restaurant near our house
 - it was the only way to get a table some times! Watching the kitchen

 The guy wasing dishes was the hardest working guy I've ever seen - he
 never stopped moving.

 We'd sit right near the spot where waiters/waitresses would pick up
 their orders from the mostly hispanic cook staff.

 1. The blonde waitress with big boobs and a beautiful smile always got
 her orders up first.

 2. The bookish brunette who spoke Spanish to the staff was similarly
 well treated.

 3. The waiter who said "please" and called the chef "chef" got his
 dishes in a similar fashion.

 4. The Asian waiter who pounded the counter with his palm got the "no
 habla" look from the staff. I made a mental note not to want to sit in
 his area.
