Here in the US South, thanks to a massive natural tropical maritime air mass that hangs out in the Gulf of Mexico that constantly blows humid air, it's miserable due to high humidity even here in the Appalachian Mountains.

Our local Koppen climate classification is "humid subtropical climate" but we are right next to an "oceanic climate" and a "humid continental mild summer, weat all year" climate so we always are damp around these parts.
