The good thing is that the engine is a V6 from an '88 S10 and has the
mounting bracket for an A/C compressor and the additional space on the
pulleys for A/C.  I will eventually get one of those kits when I can afford
it and have another vehicle to drive.

I've just the vinyl mat on the floor so it'd be easy to upgrade.  This truck
was a "work truck" model from the factory according to the VIN.  Bare-bones
but that's the way I like my vehicles as it means less to go wrong.
