Subj : pfSense To : All From : Mark Hofmann Date : Sun Aug 28 2022 09:53:18 Hi All, I seem to remember seeing conversation of people running pfSense on here. Just wanted to say that I started messing around with it yesterday and was very pleasantly suprised. Not only with the how easy it was to get setup and working, but the capabilities. The reason I just recently set up pfSense (as a VM in my ESXi environment), was to run in front of my Flux Node VM (crypto web 3.0 project). In order to run multiple flux nodes on a single external IP, your router needs to support upnp. So, I still use my Cisco ASA as my main firewall. I just port forward the specific ports to the pfSense internal IP, and then my flux nodes are behind that using upnp on pfSense.
