Oh, they're calling the Explorer model "Police Interceptor", too. I was confused as how you could make the old Crown Vic platform AWD. My last experience in the snow was in my Prius with 3 passengers and myself. In retrospect, I should have gotten new tires first - I had about 6mm of tread on my car. A 4 hour drive under sunny conditions took 12 hours, and the snow was coming down so hard that on the road to my cabin, I got stuck with cable chains going up a hill and had to rock it to get moving again. My car was so low it was snowplowing! Now, we have a 7-passenger AWD SUV with H/T tires. :) .... Use an old idea --- MultiMail/DOS v0.52 * Origin: realitycheckBBS.org -- information is power.
