I replaced my 2010 Ford Escape AWD with a 2017 Ford Police Interceptor Utility 
that had been retired by the Vermont State Police.  The 3.7L V6 actually gets 
better mileage than the 2.5L I-4 in the Escape was getting toward the end. 
Being from Vermont, the 2017 also came with AWD and decent winter tires.

Around here people either drive scared or they think that they can go 80+ in 
snow just because they have a 4WD/AWD SUV or pickup.  I chuckle to myself as I 
pass them off the road stuck in a snowbank.
