I think it is less "arrogance" and more "We have rules, but certain people is
allowed to force their boundaries while other people isn't."

When you mention that somebody from the cool group is forcing the boundaries
they usually snap at you rather than recognize rules are being bent.

THe network is still serviceable enough but you need to be aware of this.
