  It was 82 in Little Rock on Sunday...and portions of Arkansas paid the
price Sunday afternoon, evening, and overnight, with tornadoes. We're
supposed to get rain today (Tuesday), then rain changing to snow Friday.
A hard freeze is expected statewide Saturday and Sunday mornings, and
those with agricultural interests, or who've planted spring gardens, are
just furious!!

  I've seen snow in Little Rock as late as April 19 on 2 occasions since
moving here 45 years ago...and my cousin in Erie, Pennsylvania, doesn't
plant hers until after Mother's Day.
