UUE is not practical for use in echomail, that's for sure  
considering that messages can have limited line count or  
maximum size per message.   A simple 1K jpg was over 300 lines.

If an avatar or a signature could be encased in a block   
something like this (btw.. this is not a real uue file)..

...then maybe it *could* be fun and use every once in a while.

I really enjoyed the way FidoLook (a plugin for Outlook Express  
to make echomail via nntp look like echomail) implemented  
avatars.

A lot of things in this computer-hobby might be worth  
abandoning actually.

I just noticed that I also have UUDeview-32 1.4
