I’d talk to you, but our gateway computer (K6VIS) went offline when Kings Canyon National Part lost power during a recent storm and the backup generator didn’t power up. Most of the repeaters at the site were offline. When the power came back online, the computer apparently didn’t. Now, the road is likely impassable and expecting up to two feet of additional snow by Christmas and likely more next week. The elevation there is 7500 feet above sea level. I do have a DV Dongle I got from a late friend (N6QOG/SK). Where do you usually connect to, with your laptop? We have anther full DSTAR “stack” at another site at 5700’ (KK6NGT), but I’m not sure whether the computer was reinstalled after I updated the OS and gateway software. We have a third that is ready to go except the antennas and feed-lines haven’t been installed. That one isn’t connected to the trust server yet. It is at about 1800’, but it may be a while before we can get to that hilltop. We’re expecting 1.5-2” of rain by Christmas and the road to the top is mostly rocks and clay. Slippery. BTW, we spent a few days around Halloween in Salem (Fulton County) Arkansas visiting my son, his wife and three grandkids. Next year, we hope to go into Tennessee (Grand Ole Opry) and Kentucky. There is a town in Kentucky named Visalia we want to visit. It was founded by the same man who founded Visalia, California. Merry Christmas! -- 73 de Ray Quinn W6RAY Visalia, CA.
