It's been like that around here for years.  Tons of 2 meter repeaters and a bunch of 440 repeaters ... all silent.  It's difficult for me to set up a radio in this apartment.  The next apartment I get I'd like to have a little patio out back where I can put up an antenna on a tripod or something.
