We have a small wood stove that requires small rounds, and started using 
pellets in their place. They are much more efficient, burn cleanly, and I 
can get a load of pellets to last all night without stoking.

This is up near Lake Tahoe, CA. The key is to buy pellets down here in the 
flatlands where they cost 1/3 of the price!
