Agreed, I was not thinking of linking it via an IRC gateway.

I hate it when they link message areas to chat platforms.

Right now we at IRCNow are experimenting with things, and even if IRC is our
main service, we are playing with mailing lists and game servers and such. Jrmu
is concerned Big Tech is going to eventually kick every dissident voice out and
that alternative platforms have to be ready when such thing happens.
