  It was more like the cartoon, where two women neighbors are talking
across the back fence. One tells the other that "When Henrietta stops
laying eggs, we'll kill her, and eat her".

  In the next frame, you see Henrietta at the grocery store, and the
cashier asks "Another two dozen eggs, Henrietta??".

  And, *THAT'S* why the chicken crossed the road!! <BG>
