He told me he's heard good things about the Cookeville VA CBOC (Community-based Outpatient Clinic). That's about a three and a half hour drive due west of here along I-40. If I did move out there, I'd still have to come here to Johnson City, more than likely, for certain things. I would have to talk to the VA about it as I believe there is a medical center in Nashville. The VA is very specific about where certain care can be obtained and I know people who routinely drive four to six hours to get to the VA hospital here in Johnson City for specialized treatment.
