Or as Toby Keith sang in his new song..."Happy Birthday, America -- Whatever's Left Of You". :( He and the late Merle Haggard were right...the latter with "The Fightin' Side Of Me". Every time I see a veteran, I make it a point to thank them profusely for their service. My late father served in the US Submarine Service during World War II, and retired as an E-9 Master Chief Quartermaster in 1987, 20 years before his death from pancreatic cancer. I never would've passed the physical...I was born without arches in my feet, and had poor eyesight until I was 50. The teacher in elementary school told my parents (both dead and gone now) that "He can't tell time"...to which my parents said "He likely can't see the clock". Along that line, I feel naked without wearing a watch; at least I can check the time on the cellphone. Daryl .... Seen it all, done it all, can't remember most of it. === MultiMail/Win v0.52 --- SBBSecho 3.14-Win32 * Origin: The Thunderbolt BBS - Little Rock, Arkansas (618:250/33) .
