I was running Slackware -current and it broke a lot of things (this was an
attempt to fix something else that broke).  I've always been a fan of Debian
though when they switched to systemd, I quit using it.  Devuan is
systemd-free and has so far been functioning quite nicely on my workstation.

I have thought about OpenBSD but quite frankly I am not interested in the
learning curve.
