I had a somewhat restless/wakeful non-sleep a few days ago, and  
that was around the time of the full moon.  I doubt that the  
full was the cause and effect, but thinking of that folklore  
didn't help either.  I am sure something else was "off" or  
different to make sleep no happening - maybe it was the  
culmination of too many non-decaf coffees, or cheating with  
breads or sugar from candies that I was having around that  
time.
