Yeah, same here.  I do use the phone for other things, such as texting and like you, banking and a few other apps that are awfully handy to have.  I just hate all the damn spam calls I get constantly.  You don't get that with a pager.

Once I settle down and I get a landline, I may get a pager to give everyone else except a few close friends and family for which I'll have a cell phone with a low-minute plan.

I hate being in contact constantly these days.
