I saw a post where right now, Generac can't build generators fast enough...in the wake of the 2 monster winter storms in this part of the country last week. The day I had the car wreck, it was light rain and 40 degrees. Both the Verizon and T-Mobile phone had trouble getting through to 911. At least one of the numbers made it through, then I got dropped. I was then called back, and I told them what had happened...and they said "We've got people on the way". They sent a fire department batallion chief, 2 police cars, and 2 ambulances. I basically "walked away" from the wreck, mainly because my airbags didn't deploy...but, the car got totaled out. However, I sustained some chiropractic injuries, and have been getting treatment. I would've finished it up this week, but the clinic was closed all last week for the snow and ice everywhere. But, around here, whenever there are weather issues, the cellphone networks are the first thing to crash. It's like they "wait until the last minute to evacuate downtown". Daryl ....
