I miss sysop get-togethers.  I went to a few of them in the Killeen/Copperas
Cove (Texas) area when I was there around 1996-2000.  Met a lot of people, had
a lot of fun, ate a lot of mediocre food.  We used to meet at The Kettle in
Copperas Cove, or just "Cove" to locals, which was a regional Denny's knockoff
and had decent food with good service.  Recently, a few of those sysops found
their way into my FB BBS group, BBSing 2.0, and were surprised that I was still
running a BBS.  I told them I've run a BBS for half of my life now and no
reason for me to stop yet (though I have given it some thought lately due to my
situation).
