It's funny how these gatherings were ALWAYS at a Denny's regardless of where they were.  The Sysop meetups I went to in Southern California back in the day were either a Denny's or a Sizzler.  Even our crappy town had two Denny's. Once was always referred to as "the Good Dennys."  When I think back to it, I don't think either Denny's should have been considered "good."
