  I don't know what the current ones sound like...but at times, I've been
at the area Kroger when local firefighters were shopping (they have to get
groceries for the fire station, too)...when a fire call would come in...
and you'd hear all the wild tones.

  In some cases, they had to drop everything they had and leave it there...
then rush to the fire truck outside, and get off to an emergency call.
