A few years back I was having some stomach issues and found that giving up gluten really helped. I lost a lot of weight and was back at the gym quite a bit, but holy hell was it a PITA to plan and prepare meals. As you no doubt discovered, gluten is pretty much in EVERYTHING. We went out for sushi I was surprised to lean that soy sauce has gluten in it, who woulda thunk it? After about two years I was tired of the whole thing, so decided to slowly reintroduce gluten and I was happy to find that I could tolerate it again. Of course now I could really stand to loose 40 pounds, so maybe limiting it instead of eliminating it entirely could be an option.
