I used to be a Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT; it's trademarked)
and in my initial studies to become a CPhT and then in my continuing
studies afterwards, I noticed something: many, many medications list
death as a side effect.  I'm saying this straight-faced and sober.

The US is now the only country in the world that allows drug
advertisements in mass media.  Ever notice that a drug commercial on TV
talks 15 seconds about the benefits of the drug and 45 seconds with
side effects and warnings?  Makes you wonder.
