A little char goes a long way to livening it up. Oh, that sounds delicious. I will remember that. I agree that a little char does go a long way on the flavor train (great, now I sound like Guy Fieri). I am starting to see there's fellow fans of cast iron cooking in here too. Down in Sevierville, TN, about a 90 minute drive from here, there's two Lodge Cast Iron factory outlets. So much cast iron, so many deals (and so little money for me, unfortunately). I love going in to one of those stores and looking around. Looks like I only have about five cast iron recipes. I'll need to fix that.
