My 82-year old mother had a flare-up of sciatica, exacerbated by a long plane trip. I had to take her to an urgent care facility, and while on the freeway was rear-ended in a low-speed accident (it was stop-and-go traffic). We pulled over, and my mother and I got out of the car. She was hunched over and in obvious pain, and I thought the woman who hit us was going to have a heart attack when she saw her getting out of the car!
