SD> More like "look what the cat dragged in" with the way I feel. At least it wasn't like what the dog did on the ground. SD> I'm glad you weren't hurt any worse. I'm also glad that you were able SD> to find a droptop for a new car. :D Well, I'm going to keep the top closed. We had rain much of yesterday, and are supposed to get thunderstorms Sunday and Monday. SD> I am still waiting on Social Security. I'm hoping that with the SD> backpay from that I will be able to find something decent around here SD> for a vehicle. I'll definitely be getting a used vehicle though if SD> it's going to be a 4-door sedan or a small 4WD pickup will be up to the SD> luck of the draw. That Volvo 2 door hardtop convertible was the cheapest I could find in the area. From what I understand, Volvo's are good quality cars. It does cost a bit for repairs, but those apparently are few and far between. As for Social Security, I was denied disability twice, then my late wife Janice and I (who you got to meet years ago), hired a lawyer. We went before an administrative law judge...then every day for 5 months, we were praying (dare I say "pleading"??) before The Lord for a favorable ruling. Seven months before she died, that's what I got...and the first words out of my mouth, upon learning of such, were "Praise The Lord Of All Creation". Yet, they keep finding stuff wrong with me. As for the wreck, if you see someone grab their neck in a wreck, they are faking it. Injuries from those don't show up until a few days later, as your adrenaline is in overdrive for at least 2 days after the wreck. I am undergoing daily chiropractic care, and the doctor will decide on Monday whether I can cut that back to 3 days a week. At least the claim for the totaled out car came in, so I can now go and get the tags for it, and pay the property tax on it. SD> I haven't been quite the same after my COVID-19 illness. I've been SD> having headaches and tinnitus. No one at the VA seems to know what to SD> do since they can't just toss pills at me due to my blood clot and SD> blood thinners. I'm not on any blood thinners, but I tend to bleed like a stuck pig. I also get cysts all over the place. Years ago, I had a rather large benign one on the left butt cheek, that had to be removed surgically. It had to heal from the inside out as it was so deep, so I required home health care for 6 weeks. My late mother-in-law quipped "you get to show your butt, and have it rubbed". SD> So I am just waiting for now. I am trying to get the energy to do SD> things around the house. I did move my IC-718 into the motorhome and SD> have set up the Signalink USB you gifted me and a new CI-V control SD> cable (arrived yesterday). Digital modes are so far, so good. I'm SD> using my Windows laptop since my other laptop died but this one isn't SD> doing much better, I'm afraid. I've had 2 BSOD errors with Windows 10, but thankfully, those have been few and far between. SD> To quote Talking Heads, "same as it ever was". Same old, same old...you don't ever hear of "same new, same new". Take care, my friend. :) Daryl .... Think you're confused??
