Subj : CD->MP3 project To : August Abolins From : Bob Roberts Date : Sat Jan 16 2021 12:26:19 AA> My first pair of monitor/shelf design were the Realistic Minimus AA> series in the 80s. Technically, they were the same as the Kosch AA> of the same type, made in the same factories, but branded as AA> Realistic. I purchased 2 pairs of the larger Minimus-77; at I remember when Realistic was a real brand. Then it turned into Radio Shack's generic label. And then Radio Shack just went away. It looks like there is a Radio Shack online store now.... owned by the same people that own Dressbarn, Pier 1, and Linens'n'Things. Classic. BR>> to have a wife that tolerates my music. But I run audio BR>> from my computer thru a Peachtree Audio DAC and out to KRK BR>> Rokit Monitors. AA> Interesting. Never heard of those. There seems to be even more AA> brands of speakers out there than in the past. KRK is a powered monitor, typically used in music production. It many studios you'll find both KRK and Yamaha monitors. They pack a lot of punch. I listen to a lot of electronic music (as we discussed before) and they really shine there.
