Back in the 80s I always wanted a pair of Cerwin Vega's, but never had the money. These days I am not sure if they are still considered to be good speakers or if they are even made anymore. AA> Nothing beats listening to music in the open air. Oh definitely. And one thing I am learning about IEMs and headphones probably applies to speakers as well is that different speakers sound better for different things. I have some Shure SE535's that are beyond great when I am listening to jazz or classical music. But they are not that great for the Metal music that I enjoy most. Where as my Shure SE215's are great for Metal, less so for Jazz and Classical. So I switch around depending on what type of music I am listening too. Same with my overear headphones, I have a set for jazz/classical and a set for Metal. I also have a pair of custom Ultimate Ears IEMs that are freaking amazing and they are best with jazz and classical, but still sound decent with metal music. But these are what I use(d) when mixing, where sound details are a requirement. Kev --- Telegard/2/QWK v3.09.g2-sp4/mL * Origin: Razor's Domain/2 BBS (618:200/1) .
