I think a previous model of my truck had that. I had one of the   
CreativeLabs MuVo players. It came with two coloured cases/ 
shells.  You could play music independently, or slide the player  
off the "case/shell" and simply use it as a USB drive. I did the  
latter when I wanted to continue to hear music in the car.   
Storing music onto it was an easy drag and drop with the  
computer: no special app (like iTunes) required.

I remember you mentioning that.

I had a fellow drop into my shop on Saturday, and we talked about  
cassette players and 8-track. He was a collector of those things  
and the tapes that go along with it.
