Just being able to sit cross-legged might be enough to achieve  
for anyone over 50.  LOL

But, I too spent many a time on the floor, cross-legged or not,  
perusing my collections.

There was one design of CD-storage that I thought was ingeneous.  
A canadian invention, btw.   They were called FULL-VU DISC  
storage system, model FV-20.  You could see the full front and  
back and edges of the CDs, and the units were stackable.  I have  
3 of them, and regret that I didn't get more.  Google can't seem  
to find those.
