I find it totally amazing how clever engineers can be and develop wonderful solutions like MOCA and powerline adaptors to solve ethernet extension problems. I used 300 ohm antenna wire to provide speaker extensions in my house to different rooms - while the house was being built - before the final flooring was applied. We also laid down 300 ohm antenna wire to extend the TV feed to two "potential" rooms. I regret that we didn't do that for ALL the bedrooms back then. :( Coax options for TVs came along a few years later. But what a difference 25+ years can make. Now, cabling isn't even necessary for either Tv or audio equipment. However, I'd love to take advantage of the fiber (ToSlink)? that my TV offers and the matching connection that my legacy receiver provides so that I can attach dedicated speakers for the tv when watching films or music performances. --- OpenXP 5.0.48 * Origin: (} Pointy McPointface (618:250/1.9) .
