In pre-COVID times I used to enjoy driving around, and just going to stores to "get out."  And yes that always included getting some sort of food at a place with a Bar, where you can sit by yourself and not be too bothered.  

But now, with all the mask work, hand sanitizer, plexiglass, standing in socially distance lines, monitoring people around you... it's just exausting.  Nothing fun about shopping now, get in... get out... don't touch anything.  

So I get what you are saying.  It's tough out there right now.
