I feel like I do that everyday! :) And then when you can separate
yourself from the issue, sometimes the solution pops right up. 

Had an typical experience yesterday. Trying to figure out an issue on a
program for a client. Spent a good 2 hours with another developer
looking at the code and files, etc. Left around 5pm without a solution.

On my 5 minute drive home, I figured it out. Made the change this
morning and all is good.
