Might be something to suggest to OpenXP's author.  It shouldn't be too
difficult to write since a nodelist and a nodediff are sufficently
different to where you can just scan the first line.

I do not use nodediffs; I never have in my entire BBSing "career". 
There hasn't been a reason to.  Though my system does build its master
nodelist every Friday after the Micronet nodelist is created.
