I use it here on both my Windows computers and my OS/2 BBS.

He should -only- use "Ansi BBS" as his term emulation.  The rest of them
send CR only when a BBS expects CR/LF (except Maximus sometimes).

That's under Options -> Load Session Profile -> Emulation ... and make
sure "Destructive Backspace" is checked.
