That may very well be my problem.  I have set mystic up as a front end for
my DOS BBS because the bots were crashing VMODEM, too.  The one thing I did
different that some others may not is that I have mystic call the script
(that calls dosemu & the BBS) directly rather than telnet from mystic to make
a connection to the BBS.

Someone else suggested that I set my syncterm connection to RAW but I have
not tried that yet.
