Here is what I would do, and I think it should work. Let's say the network range of your parents' router is 192.168.1.x. Set the 2nd router as 192.168.1.88 and then set that IP as DMZ on your parent's router. Now on your secondary router, you can setup it up as a new IP range, say 192.168.2.x and then forward incoming ports on that router to the specific IP address of the computer, using the new IP range of .2. You would basically be double NAT'ing stuff, but that should work. But, I am sure there are better networking guru's here than me.
