Good luck getting that fixed.  You either have to get your term to work in
CP437 or play with your termcap.  In 20+ years of using Linux, I never did
get GoldEd+ to work under Linux correctly.  It wouldn't do a personal mail
scan correctly and no one seems to know why.  Most of the navigation keys
don't work unless you get deep into the configuration and fiddle with it.

In the end, I gave up and just used offline mail.
