It's got the Mystic scripting language. I use it and it works. Why do you
want a BBS software to use a fossil driver? And why would you want it to be 
open source? Compatibility issues with old hardware?

Sometimes you have to forgive people who have pissed you off. I pray for the 
well being of people who piss me off. (Maybe he was having a bad day.)
