Configuring my matrix login, and the default menu setup seems to display some 
malformed ANSI cursor positioning code instead of the lightbar(s):

%EC[21;12HLog On%BN

Any ideas what might be going wrong? Lightbars and shuttle are "on" in system 
toggles...
