Woah; I had no idea BBBS had that feature. I think one of the main reasons new software doesn't do this is the FTNs would never be compatible. Still, I think local message bases on bbSes would be better w/ threaded posts. klud.ge:23 is a bbS software written by the sysOp; he recently switched it over to a retro Apple system and new code, but the old code had decent threaded locals... it was nice to see and it read well. For me, bbSes are historical, retro; I'm fine w/o, but when forums came around I was always amazed at how much better reading the threads was that the bbSes from my yesteryear.
