I'm savvy enough to read messages without threading, have done so since I 
first signed onto a BBS. Maybe its a preference thing.

Threading is another thing that requires a stupid amount of logic to program, 
just to group related messages together... and kludge-line nonsense.

The end-user doesn't care, but it says a LOT about a message format that its 
so convoluted one chooses not to write their own code to handle. There aren't 
exactly a bunch of devs writing code for this anymore.

The whole point was not to see Renegade get any added stupidity and JAM is a
perfect example of. Adding a stupid library just to handle the act of storing 
messages in a few files.
