The only thing that would make bbS messaging better is simple forum-style threading - and PPL don't do it b/c its not compatible, easily or in a way that could be implemented, with FTNs/Fidonet style bbS networking. So who fucking cares which format a bbS software implements? Do whatever w0rks for your userbase and is accepted by the bbSes that *still* run your 30 year old bbS softwarez - it doesn't matter. ;P

Without threading, who cares - and the community won't accept a threaded future, so whats the point of arguing over which way is implemented into, again, 30 year old tech... *everything* is 30 years old. JAM/squish/Hudson/etc -

We're forever going to be 330, 331, 332, 333, 334 - who cares Pascal function devs use???
