It's much better now. Dude, I remember my first RedHat and Slackware - BOTH were much harder to work with back in the mid nineties. I think doing this LFS install was totally worth it and fun to do. I think I'm going to add WPA supplicant, SystemD and some other softwarez at the end. I freaking added a HDD to hold the LFS install, and thought I could just remove the host OS HDD from the VM at the end, and easily boot right into LFS - but... I'm currently stuck at the very last step - BOOTING. I'll get thru it, and have learned a lot doing this project.
