You'll see plenty of both kinds plop on top of the 'new' section of the Telnet BBS Guide page constantly. There's a couple of each right now as I type this (to be fair, I'm just looking at the login screenshots which are stock, so maybe they're customized under the surface, maybe not). I made the noob mistake very early on of having my BBS accessible while I was working on it, and with the sbbslist timed event running. I just left it running one day so a buddy of mine could test it out. The next day, some one I don't know creates a new account and says they heard about it from Telnet BBS Guide. Eventually I realized that the sbbslist must be one of Telnet BBS Guide's sources. Lesson learned, and from that point on I made sure I tried to understand as much from the wiki as possible before going online again. I kinda wish TBBSG did more vetting. Maybe only include boards that have been active for X days, and aren't just more noobs like I was when I was just trying out the software. Maybe then we'd see fewer stock listings constantly littering the top of the new board list. But I digress. I like to think now I have a good board, and very much non-stock. Maybe not the best out there, but I put a lot of work into it and hopefully it shows. --- SBBSecho 3.11-Win32 * Origin: -=[conchaos.synchro.net|ConstructiveChaos BBS]=- (25:25/21) .
