A> what usually happens is there's enough data in there that the crc check dont detect it as a dupe. you can modify that. it is absolutely the fault of the sysop sending dupes, though. i had synchronet bbses hooked up to multiple networks including fidonet and never sent dupes. this was on multiple bbses using internet rex and radius and other software. i don't know how these sysops are configuring it so it is taking existing msgs, putting their origin line and sending it back. it's something they are doing wrong. i've never done it so i don't know. i'm no expert but i've set my own stuff up with no problems and i've setup people who are now running msg networks that are still going. i showed frank linhares how to do it and then he acted like an expert on it to everyone. i dont know shit and i logged into his system and set it up! same with another dude who is still around. so if you find out how they are doing it, let me know. i'm sure they wont admit to what they did wrong, though. ....
