both dollar general and walmart price things down to move out inventory.
sometimes it's an accident, sometimes not.  you used to be able to find
something cheap online at walmart and do ship to store.  not anymore.

the other week i got some blue diamond almonds that were 6 bucks normally for 
1.60.  i bought all the bags.

dollar general sells some things for a penny. there's facebook groups with
people that talk about all the sales. most of the time it's just junk.  i
remember one time a lady bought the entire store's stock of xmas orniment
hooks.  when i asked her why she would need that many i got a warning from
the moderator :D
